And we’re back… again. Welcome to Berzin Photography, and the blog! This is now the third, and hopefully final version of this blog and gallery in three years. First Tumblr, then Smugmug, now a free standing gallery, blog, and store.
After spending years traveling, photographing, and taking notes on how to do it all the idea of this blog is to share those experiences. We’ll have some How-tos discussing how we shot and edited certain pictures, posts about our favorite restaurants and sights in each location, and commentary about gear and equipment. The main website has galleries of pictures from each of the 25+ countries we have been to, and a linked store with (very) pretty prints and canvasses.
Part travel blog, part photography website, please look around, comment, and enjoy!
About the photo: It’ old. The oldest, actually. The Exif data tells me it was taken 8/7/2008 on a Nikon D70. This is the first HDR style shot (or series) of shots that we ever took. Bracketed manually on the D70, and then blended in photoshop, even now with all of my new editing toys, I can’t recreate the effect. This shot was taken at Estling Lake in Denville, NJ. Can you spot the dragon? or is it a reindeer?[spider_facebook id=”1″]
